Until I can at least get it to stick together, am not willing to risk my other machines. I have tried pounding and chopping it to no avail. I live in Hawaii and don't know if it cooked on the way over? Any other suggestions or places I can donate to? I have a LOT of the "old" Kato clay.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4063021343424504180.post-33127812216691084382010-05-11T20:57:42.587+01:002010-05-11T20:57:42.587+01:00Maybe it's just as well I can't drive and ...Maybe it's just as well I can't drive and don't have a car, that would be too tempting! I'm going crazy here (in the UK) waiting for my Makins clay machine to arrive.(I managed to break a cheap pasta machine so decided to invest in a really good one) The supplier was out of stock and awaiting a delivery from the USA, and what happens - a @**@* cloud of ash from a volcano in Iceland, that's what! and I'm really hoping it will turn up soon.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04594661627722708943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4063021343424504180.post-58456238621216563642010-04-27T01:07:56.748+01:002010-04-27T01:07:56.748+01:00Cara, another good way to condition Kato is to cut...Cara, another good way to condition Kato is to cut in slices and put it in a Zip Loc Freezer bag. Squeeze the air out of the bag and seal it and then put it on the garage floor and whach it with a mallet. Keep turning the bag. This works good. I tried running over it with the car but the bag stuck to the wheel, husband was very unhappy.Bonnie Kreger at B-LEE KREATIONShttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10487210869874982153noreply@blogger.com
